Job Description

A global multi-strategy hedge fund that recently launched their commodities business is building out their middle office function and seeking a senior level hire in either NYC, Greenwich, or Norwalk CT. This fund has grown year over year and is ~$10b AUM, outperforming some of the major funds in the NY market.

As a result of their growth and the movements within the commodities space over the last year or so, they are looking for a senior trade support/middle office professional to work closely with trading, risk, and valuation teams managing the trade lifecycle focused on power products such as futures, options, FTRs, and Load Servicing.

Responsibilities include:

• Trade bookings, invoicing, reviewing reconciliations and resolving breaks specifically focused on power products
• Updating data in internal systems for trades and positions across multiple systems like Geneva, IVP Security Master, and other prop systems
• Work closely with PMs and the trade operations team on any issues with trade representation

Requirements include:

• MUST HAVE Middle office or trade support experience covering power products like FTRs, load trading, options, swaps, and futures
• Minimum 7 years experience in a role like this ideally at a hedge fund, prop trading firm, or a commodity trading firm - power products
• Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or related field
• Detail oriented
