Job Description

The Opportunity

Administer professional Spa Services to Guests, utilizing knowledge of and providing services based on licensing and/or certifications held. To do well in this role, you will need to have excellent customer service skills. You should also be capable of altering the techniques that you use to deliver treatments that reflect the unique needs and wishes of each client you work with.


What You Get to Do:

  • Receive Guests on time for their service in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Provide consistent professional treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
  • Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
  • Properly open and close each shift according to Standard Operating Procedures and Spa protocols.
  • Properly care for equipment, use proper sanitation, and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
  • Provide accurate and detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, treatment contraindications, facility features, and hours of operation.
  • Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
  • Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required.
  • Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programs, promotions, and/or discounts available in the Spa or on the property.
  • React promptly to Guest requests, complaints, or inquiries professionally, courteously, and promptly reporting to a supervisor if needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked, and well-organized work area.
  • Assist in all areas of the spa operation, including locker room and fitness center as needed, as requested by management.
  • Other duties as assigned that are related to this role.

What Qualifies You:

  • Massage Certification from an accredited Massage therapy program and/or an Active Minnesota Cosmetology, Esthetics, or Nail Technician Operators License.
  • Previous spa experience preferred.
  • Must be able to secure a license from the Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
  • Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGRs).
  • Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
