Job Description
Docusign is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Tax Analyst to join the income tax team. In this role, you will focus on US federal and state provision and compliance and, as part of the global consolidated income tax reporting function, you will be involved in international tax processes. We are looking for a self-sufficient, team player that will thrive in a dynamic environment and contribute to the continuous improvement of our tax processes This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director – Reporting and Compliance.
Responsibility - Assist in preparation of quarterly provision and tax return, including US federal book to tax adjustments, state tax adjustments and attribute carryforward schedules
- Assist in the preparation of US federal and state return to provision calculations
- Research and prepare responses to tax notices from various tax jurisdictions
- Process income tax payments and prepare and post required income tax journal entries, maintain monthly income tax account roll forward and account reconciliations
- Assist with special projects including M&A, process improvements, audit support, and tax technology implementation
- Assist in business tax filings and other tax submissions as needed

Basic - Bachelor’s degree, with emphasis in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 5 years of corporate tax and / or accounting firm experience with experience in domestic tax
- Experience with Excel
Preferred - Public company multinational corporation experience and/ or public accounting firm experience (i.e., Big 4)
- Master’s degree in Tax or Accounting and/or CPA
- Excellent tax research, analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communications skills, including the ability to communicate cross-functionally to tax and non-tax professionals
Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $101,500.00 – $156,750.00 base salary Illinois and Colorado: $97,000.00 – $133,300.00 base salary Washington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $97,000.00 – $139,525.00 base salary Washington DC: $101,500.00 – $139,525.00 base salary This role is also eligible for the following: Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance. Global benefits provide options for the following:
