Job Title: Painter – Transformer Manufacturing

Position Overview:

As a Painter at Central Moloney, you will contribute to the finishing process of transformers by applying high-quality paint and coatings. Your skills in surface preparation and painting will ensure our products meet aesthetic and protective standards required for performance in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
• Apply paint using spray guns, brushes, or rollers in accordance with specifications.
• Mix paint, solvents, and other materials as necessary to achieve desired colors and finishes.
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality, ensuring proper thickness, coverage, and consistency.
• Maintain painting equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while working with paints and solvents to ensure a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Observe and report any defects or issues with painted components to the supervisor.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in industrial painting or a similar role is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of different types of paints, coatings, and their application methods.
• Ability to read and follow technical specifications and safety data sheets (SDS).
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in painting and chemical handling.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift and maneuver equipment and materials as needed.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Additional Information:

• This position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
• Shift timing: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, with the possibility of overtime based on production needs.
• Physical requirements include standing for long periods, working in various environmental conditions, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
