Description & Requirements Maximus is seeking a Technology Director to provide expertise to a federal client in support of their mission critical systems in defense of our Homeland.
We are seeking an experienced Technology Director to join our team. Your role will involve overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them to ensure that they can accomplish the goals established by the enterprise and the client. You will also be involved in providing leadership for both short and long-term planning for all technological innovations, which includes but is not limited to visions, goals, modernizations, infrastructure, staffing, and others.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversee customer service functions and staff daily to ensure that excellent
customer service is provided to customers and stakeholders.
- Lead a team of cross-functional IT admins and engineers to develop, maintain, and execute key platform initiatives.
- Develop strategies to provide high availability, scalability, and security for the platform.
- Interact with different levels of external and internal customers, providing
both guidance and solutions.
- Manage the assigned team with technological advancements and industry
best-practices through training, quality assurance, conflict resolution,
retrospectives, and others.
- Receive and analyze data forecasts; use key performance metrics to
determine the best resource allocation in support of goals and
expectations, adjust resource allocation accordingly to successfully and
efficiently meet requirements of the company or the client.
- Maintain the overall system architecture, network design, data center operations, operating systems, and more. Implement best practices for system performance, reliability, and disaster recovery.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, government policies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Generate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports based upon
management request.
- Plays an active role in day-to-day management of operations to be
knowledgeable and aware of all issues, concerns, and requirements.
- Approve timesheets, develop team schedules, manage expectations, and
career goals of the team, and any other assigned duties.
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements: - Active Secret clearance is required.
- Due to agency and contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens with no dual citizenship.
- This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime. Candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule, if required.
- Telework: Candidates must reside within a commutable distance and be available to work onsite at the customer's discretion. This includes being on-site during the transition period. Must be based around Colorado Springs, CO.
- This position requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Certified in one or more of the following:
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
- Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE)
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
- Microsoft MCSA
- Microsoft MCSE
- 12 or more years of experience in a Lead IT role or in a related field.
- 12 or more years of experience in the following:
- Unix/Linux/Windows Administration
- Managing IT Platform Systems On-Prem and within the Cloud
- Experience with Virtualization Technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, etc.
- Network and Security Configurations, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and firewalls

Pay Transparency

Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
