Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Modeling Analyst III with strong experience in data modeling and data warehousing to join a high-impact team at Fannie Mae. This role requires hands-on expertise with ER Studio and a solid background in relational and dimensional data modeling. The ideal candidate will also support Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with development and testing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture, analyze, and document data modeling requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Support Agile ceremonies and serve as the main point of contact for development and QA teams.
• Design and maintain data models using ER Studio .
• Apply data warehousing principles to support data integration and reporting needs.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and data analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6 8 years of overall experience in data modeling and data analysis.
• Proficient in ER Studio or similar data modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of relational and dimensional modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with data governance practices is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information:

• This is a 100% onsite position in Reston, VA.
• Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in large-scale enterprise environments and data governance.
