Job Title: Cyber Security Operations Analyst

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Duration: 11 Months (Tentative)

Job Overview:
Navitas Partners, LLC is seeking Cyber Security Operations Analyst for an exciting job in Boston, MA.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to alerts from SOC, EDR, and identity platforms
• Triage and resolve security tickets (ServiceNow) and analyze threat intelligence feeds
• Configure and manage SIEM alerts, dashboards, and data sources
• Conduct threat hunting using IOCs, IOAs, and emerging attack techniques
• Support automated remediation through SOAR workflows
• Analyze web proxy, firewall traffic, and anomalies to detect threats
• Participate in incident response, investigations, and post-incident reviews
• Support vulnerability assessments and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices
• Develop dashboards and reports to track security metrics
• Recommend and implement security improvements, including hardening and filtering
• Provide support for user education, emergency response, and on-call security operations

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or SOC environments
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and identity security platforms
• Strong knowledge of threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Familiarity with firewalls, proxies, and network traffic analysis
• Understanding of risk management frameworks and compliance standards
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
• Security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, Splunk Certified) preferred
