The Role

We are seeking a dynamic go getter, to help our sales team as we plan to go to market. As a Business Development Summer Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in sales development, prospect outreach, and market analysis while working alongside an innovative and collaborative team. You will assist in identifying potential prospects, supporting sales efforts, and helping refine our sales processes.

This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn about sales in a fast-paced start-up environment and is passionate about social impact technology.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and key decision-makers.
  • Assist in prospecting and lead generation through email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other sales channels.
  • Support the sales team in scheduling meetings, preparing sales materials, and managing CRM data.
  • Organize and track outreach efforts, ensuring follow-ups and responses are managed effectively.
  • Help develop and refine sales messaging to align with customer needs and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create content and campaigns that support sales efforts.
  • Attend sales meetings and client calls to observe and contribute to discussions.
  • Help analyze outreach data and campaign performance to optimize engagement strategies.
  • Support additional sales-related tasks as needed to help the team meet its goals.

Internship Details

Location: Chicago based internship in our Wicker Part office | 2 days per week in office + 3 days remote work.

Duration: 8 weeks; start date based on candidate college Spring Term end date.

Compensation: $16.20 per hour
