Salary Range : $40,000/Annualized, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.
Hours : 40 hours per week, non-exempt.

Essential Functions Job Summary Assist in the administration of a department and handle routine administrative decisions.
Core Responsibilities - Responsible for supplying dependable and factual information for use by the department administrators.
- Uses initiative and independent judgment to relieve administrators of many routines matters and decisions.
- Develops and oversees the maintenance of office filing systems. Maintains complex and confidential files.
- Manages parking vouchers for guest speakers.
- Creates Educational Experience agreements for new sites for practicums.
- Uploads agreements to CourseLeaf and make sure appropriate parties receive final agreement.
- Keeps track of all agreements and reaches out to facilities when agreements are expiring to work on renewal.
- Checks the dietetics email account/reply to inquiries.
- Reserves rooms on campus for events (information sessions, open house, meetings, orientations).
- Places food orders for events.
- Manages office supplies and inventory. Inventory Contact Person for the program (surplus, etc.).
- Creates BEF/Invoice requests/PO requests.
- Helps with the planning of events (CPD graduation celebration and preceptor appreciation).
- Manages clinical site info on Typhon.
- Helps with CPD application process and reviews of applicants-downloading applicant packets and checklist.
- Manages program calendar and event schedule.
- Processes travel requests for students and faculty, submitting receipts and mileage for reimbursement.
- Processes new hires for the department.
- Assists with special projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Four (4) years of increasingly responsible administrative, clerical, or office experience.
- At the department's discretion, a Bachelor's degree may be substituted for experience.
- Knowledge of current methods and systems of bookkeeping, filing, and purchasing.
- Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge in everyday work situations while utilizing independent judgment.
- Special equipment may be used in specific departments or sections.

Working Conditions Working Environment:
- Office environment.
- Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions, or other business-related events.
- Occasional after-hours and weekend work or overtime may be required.
Physical Demands:
- Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required, only occasionally.
- Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
This position will be primarily located on campus . Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
